This Privacy Policy describes how PrimeReception (“PrimeReception,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you interact with our website, call a law firm that uses our services, or otherwise communicate with us. PrimeReception provides after-hours intake and messaging services to law firms; when you contact one of those firms, your information is handled both by us and by the firm you called.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information you provide during a call or on an intake form, such as your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Inquiry details you describe during a call or submit through an intake link, such as the nature of your matter, dates, locations, and other facts you share.
  • Call data from inbound phone calls, including caller number, time and duration of the call, and a recording and/or transcript of the conversation for quality, training, and intake purposes.
  • Messaging consent and records, including whether you consented to receive text messages, the messages we sent or you sent, and opt-out elections.
  • Device and usage data when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL, collected via standard server logs and cookies.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide intake services on behalf of the law firm you contacted, including routing your inquiry to the firm and sending you intake links and follow-ups you have consented to receive.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve PrimeReception's services, including monitoring for fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
  • Communicate with you about service-related matters, including changes to our policies.

3. How we share information

We share information with the law firm you contacted, so that the firm can follow up with you about your inquiry. We may also share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate PrimeReception (for example, telephony, messaging, hosting, and analytics vendors), subject to contractual confidentiality and security requirements.
  • Authorities and other parties when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PrimeReception, our customers, or others.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to continued protection of your information.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

4. SMS / Text Messaging

If you consent during a call to receive text messages, “[Firm Name] via PrimeReception” may send you a secure intake link and follow-up messages about your inquiry. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in / consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using the firm's services.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to receive a copy in a portable format. 8. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by additional means as appropriate.
